Uber riders in LA, Atlanta and Miami can catch a ride on one of the iconic vehicles, from the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine to the Spongebob Patty Wagon. Those lucky enough to hail one of these rides even get a themed mask to really immerse themselves into the experience.
Kit Kat US were slightly less innovative but still took part in the fun with a: tag your costume mates in the comments competition to win a 4 person Kit Kar bar costume.
Mexican fast food chain Chipotle has one of our favourite campaigns with their Boorito Halloween event. The restaurant is opening the first virtual Roblox storefront and created a spooky digital maze full of exclusive brand offers for gamers.
Reese’s:
Amercian sweet brand has given their video ads a social twist this year. The commercial asks what happened to all the Reese’s chocolates that ‘disappear’ around Halloween (“they’ve gone to a better place…). A partnership with neighborhood social network Nextdoor includes a Treat Map app for local trick or treating. The brand is also pushing its popular Reese’s Pumpkins chocolate as the “Official Pumpkins of Halloween”, even competing with sellers of actual pumpkins for the title.
